How it works

  1. 01

    Pick a timer

Countdown, workout, Pomodoro, breathing or stopwatch. Choose a quick time or a preset and you're ready.

  2. 02

    Make it yours

Change the background, the font, the color and the sounds. Every page remembers what you set last time.

  3. 03

    Start, save or share

Press Start, put it full screen, save it as a video, or send it to anyone with one link.

A countdown timer you can make your own

Pick a quick time or use the Hr, Min and Sec buttons above Start; hold a button to change the time quickly. When time is up, a bell rings until you stop it.

Change the background, the font, the color and where the numbers sit, then save it to My Timers or share it with a link.

Turn any countdown into a video for a class, a stream, an event or a YouTube intro.

Questions

How do I set a time that isn't in the list?

Use the Hr, Min and Sec plus and minus buttons above Start. Tap to change by one, or hold to change by ten a second. To keep a time in the list, choose + at the end of the quick times.

Are there keyboard shortcuts?

Space starts and pauses, R resets, and F goes full screen. Ctrl or ⌘ + Z undoes a reset or a deleted quick time.

Can I turn this timer into a video?

Yes. Choose Save as video under the clock and you get an MP4 with the same look and the same sounds, ready for YouTube, a live stream, a class screen or your phone. It's made in your browser, nothing is uploaded, and videos can be up to 3 hours long. Videos carry a small timermaker.com mark in the corner.

Can I use my own photo or video as the background?

Yes. Choose Background on the clock, then pick or drop a photo or video. Your file stays in your browser and is never uploaded. Darken background keeps the numbers easy to read.

Can I add my own music?

Yes. Under Sound, choose Add music and pick a music file. Add a few songs and they play in order, on a loop, for the whole timer, and get quieter while a sound or voice plays. Your music stays in your browser and goes into videos you save, but not into shared links.

Will it still beep if I switch tabs or lock my phone?

Keep this page open and the sounds play on time, even in another tab. Phones can stop pages when they save power, so for anything important keep the screen on: the page keeps it awake while a timer runs. A timer with no sound may show the end a little late in a background tab, but it always ends at the right time.

Does it remember my settings?

Yes. Each page remembers what you set last time, in this browser. To keep several versions, use Save: they go to My Timers, where you can also back everything up to a file and restore it in another browser.

How do I share a timer?

Choose Share under the clock to get a link. Anyone who opens it gets the same timer and can start it or change it for themselves. Your own photos, videos and music aren't included in shared links.
